The division of young researchers (Finnish abbreviation NuTu) is a division of the Finnish Psychological Society, founded 28th March, 2001. Members of NuTu are graduate students or other young researchers in the field of psychology. If your research topic is in some way related to psychology, you’re welcome to join us!
We get together each month for lunch, typically on the first Friday of the month. We also organize practise sessions for oral presentations when needed. In these sessions you can practise your presentation in a stress-free environment and get feedback from other graduate students. Finally, we organize seminars once or twice a year with varying topics (e.g., legal psychology).
The easiest way to get informed on NuTu activities, and to keep track of the time and location of lunch meetings, is to join our mailing list: nuotu-lista(a)helsinki.fi. To subscribe to the list, please send an email to the automated system: majordomo@helsinki.fi. You should write to the text field: subscribe nuotu-lista followed by your email address. The subject line doesn’t matter.
